Advert description
I’m a Master’s student in Data Science and Analytics with a strong foundation in mathematics and statistics, offering personalised maths tutoring for GCSE and A-level students.
My approach is simple: make maths clear, manageable, and even enjoyable. I focus on breaking down complex topics into easy steps, using real-life examples where possible so concepts actually make sense. Whether it’s algebra, statistics, or general problem-solving, I help students understand the logic behind each step instead of just memorising methods.
Each lesson is tailored to the student. I start by identifying strengths and weak areas, then build a plan that fits their goals—whether that’s improving grades, catching up with schoolwork, or preparing for exams. Lessons are interactive, with a mix of explanation, guided practice, and independent problem-solving so students stay engaged and build confidence.
I also support with exam techniques, time management, and common question patterns, helping students feel more prepared and less anxious during tests. After sessions, I provide practice questions and quick revision tips to reinforce learning.
My goal is to create a comfortable space where students feel free to ask questions and learn at their own pace. Over time, students not only improve their performance but also develop confidence and a more positive attitude towards maths.
I’m patient, approachable, and adapt my teaching style to suit different learning speeds and styles. I understand that every student learns differently, so I make sure lessons feel comfortable and not overwhelming. I focus on building consistency, as regular practice and clear understanding lead to long-term improvement.
For online lessons, I use tools like digital whiteboards to explain concepts clearly and share notes after each session so students can revise anytime. I also track progress over time and adjust lessons to ensure continuous improvement.
I’m committed to helping students not just improve their grades, but also feel more confident and independent when tackling maths problems on their own.
If you’re looking for a supportive and structured maths tutor who focuses on real understanding and results, I’d be happy to help.
