Everyone is different, so I like to adapt my approach depending on what kind of resources students benefit from. Regardless of subject, active recall is essential to retaining knowledge and I integrate this in a variety of ways through my teaching, for example, regular informal vocabulary tests in languages. I keep my approach encouraging and positive so that students feel motivated to reach goals, and am always happy to revisit topics and break them down further if there are any gaps in understanding.
