Enthusiastic, engaging and experienced tutor specialising in Spanish GCSE, Level and teaching adult beginners

With over four years of experience as a Spanish tutor, I’ve had the pleasure of helping students grow in confidence and ability across a range of settings. I’ve led a high school languages club, delivered private 1-to-1 lessons, and taught small groups of students aged 11–18. I’ve also supported adult beginners, tailoring lessons to suit different learning styles and goals. For UK students, I bring extensive experience with GCSE and A-Level Spanish. Having taken these exams myself in 2021 and 2023—achieving a Grade 9 and an A—I understand exactly what it takes to reach top marks. I can guide you through key texts such as *La Casa de Bernarda Alba*, *El Laberinto del Fauno*, and *Volver*, as well as help you master all aspects of the exams: listening, reading, writing, and the IRP for A-Level. Having lived in Argentina for a year, I’m deeply passionate about the languages, cultures, and histories of the Spanish-speaking world. At university, I’m currently exploring topics such as sport in Latin America and fascism in Spanish-speaking societies, which I love to bring into my lessons to make learning richer and more meaningful. My lessons go beyond just grammar and vocabulary—I aim to immerse you in the cultural context that makes language truly come alive.
