Enthusiastic, engaging and experienced tutor specialising in Spanish GCSE, ALevel and teaching adult beginners

I have been a Spanish tutor for about four years now, I have led languages club at a high school, taught privately (1-to-1), and also to small groups of students aged 11-18. I have also previously taught adult beginners. If you are a UK student, I have lots of experience teaching GCSE and ALevel students. Having sat these exams relatively recently (2021, 2023), and achieved a 9 and and A respectively, I know the technique needed to get the top grades! I have experience teaching texts such as La Casa de Bernarda Alba, El Laberinto del Fauno and Volver, as well as exam technique for all aspects of the exams: listening, reading, writing (and IRP for Alevel students). Having lived in Argentina, I am very interested in the various languages, cultures and histories of the Spanish-speaking world and am currently studying sports in Latin America, and fascism in the Spanish-speaking world at university. In my lessons not only would I teach you the practical language skills but also the cultural aspects which central to language learning!
