English tutor providing lessons to KS3, GCSE, and A Level students

I am a PhD Literature student with an MA in Literature and a BA in English Language and Literature. I have always been really enthusiastic about English, so much so that I took both English Language and English Literature separately at A Level. One of my favourite things about studying English is that there is no right answer, but that does not mean that there is no logic to it. In fact, I believe that the best way to approach English is with a strategy that is developed to suit each individual. I want to help students find a methodological approach to each question that is tailored to their learning style. I have 6 years of tutoring experience, having taught over 30 students, and I also have experience teaching on multiple modules at university level. I like to tailor each of my lessons to my student as I believe there is no 'one size fits all' with English. I think it is highly important to make sure that my students feels secure and confident when approaching a question, rather than overwhelmed, so I try to help each of my students create a strategy as to how to approach each question to make sure they tick all of the boxes. I try to create a relaxed lesson space where students feel as if they can be honest about what they find difficult or ask me any questions they want.
