I am an enthusiastic and patient educator. I have served as a BPA student coach and worked part-time as a Maths and English tutor since 2024. After Christmas, I plan to volunteer to deliver maths lessons at a secondary school in Leeds. I am able to support a wide range of learner, including students preparing for formal exams, bilingual children, young learners through Chinese picture book sessions, and adult learners of Chinese. I prioritise building trust with every learner first. I assess their current level, identify knowledge gaps, and design personalised lessons. I break down complicated concepts into clear, manageable steps and adjust my teaching pace according to each student’s progress. I keep sessions engaging and encouraging, helping learners turn pressure into motivation.
