Kaishuo Zhang

I am an enthusiastic and patient tutor with experience as a BPA student coach and part-time Maths and English tutor since 2024. I am currently studying Mathematics and Statistics at the University of Leeds, and I will start volunteering to teach maths at a local secondary school after Christmas.

I offer flexible one-to-one lessons tailored to your goals. I support exam-focused students preparing for school assessments, bilingual children, young learners through fun Chinese picture book activities, and adults who want to learn Chinese.

At the start of our sessions, I will check your current level and find out your weak points. I break difficult knowledge into simple, easy-to-follow steps, and adjust my speed and teaching style to match you. I create a relaxed, supportive classroom atmosphere, helping you build confidence and turn pressure into motivation.

I like to keep lessons interactive: we will do practice questions, review mistakes together, and set clear small targets for each session. Whether you want to improve exam grades, build solid foundations, or practise Chinese, I will design a personalised learning plan for you.
