Advert description
I have a fun, low-pressure approach to learning, preferring a creative method to make statistics and facts memorable, but I am able to adapt my style to a student's preference. I offer support with: course content (particularly for OCR specifications); fieldwork and coursework; essay writing; memorisation of facts and figures; and subject-specific skills, all at secondary, GCSE and A Level. What I lack in teaching experience, I make up for in passion for Geography and a love of the natural world.
I achieved a Grade 8 in the subject at GCSE, and an A* at A Level. I have had my struggles with the subject, particularly at A Level, but my grades reflect my dedication to improvement and my overall aptitude for the subject.
For student reference, I studied the OCR B syllabus at GCSE, and OCR H481 at A Level. I have listed the topics I covered at A Level below. I would not feel equipped to teach course-specific content for any options not listed at either GCSE or A Level. However, I do own a copy of the A Level textbook and would be willing to act as a revision buddy or offer guidance on long-answer essays for the A Level topics not listed, regardless.
