Advert description
Teaching will be Foundational Basics and Pronunciation
We'd start with the absolute essentials: the alphabet, basic greetings (Hola,¿Que tal?), and the sounds of Spanish.
The focus here is on pronunciation, as it's very consistent in Spanish. We'd use minimal pairs and common words to get you comfortable speaking out loud right away.
2. Core Vocabulary and High-Frequency Verbs
We'd immediately move to the most common verbs and daily vocabulary (like ser, estar, tener, and words for common objects, food, and family).
The goal is to build simple, practical sentences you can use immediately.
3. Grammar Through Context
I wouldn't teach long, dry grammar rules. Instead, we'd tackle grammar concepts (like verb conjugations, gender of nouns, and adjective agreement) as they come up in real sentences and conversations.
For example, we'd learn the present tense by talking about your daily routine.
4. Immersion and Practice
Speaking would be the priority. Even with mistakes, we'd try to conduct as much of the lesson in Spanish as possible.
We'd use real-world materials like simple Spanish songs, short news articles, or video clips to expose you to the language naturally.
