Advert description
Have you ever wondered, "Why am I learning this, I won't ever use it!" I completely understand how frustrating maths can be, especially when it all feels irrelivant. As your tutor, I would help you develop your understanding of mathematical concepts through real world examples and practical applications. Our sessions would go beyond simply completing assignments, focusing on deeper understanding of core concepts. There is no "right way" to do mathematics. My approach expands beyond techniques learned in the classroom to find a technique that works well for you, as an individual student. Together, we can tackle tricky problems, develop core understanding of mathematical concepts, and learn how mathematics applies to the real world.
I have a Masters degree in biological research and use statistical and computational mathematics in my everyday life. I can teach maths from the very basic level - addition, subtraction, negative numbers, fractions and decimals - all the way up to geometry, algebra, or calculus. My approach is very individualized and student-focused, accomodating for any student's individual needs. I am able to work with students of all ages, abilities, backgrounds, and neurological differences.
