I have strong maths skills and have recently completed my GCSEs, achieving a Grade 6 in Mathematics. I am patient, friendly, and enjoy helping others understand topics they find difficult. Through volunteering at a dental practice and helping with school events, I have developed good communication, organisation, and teamwork skills. I also completed my Silver Duke of Edinburgh's Award, which strengthened my responsibility and problem-solving abilities. When teaching, I will first identify what the student already understands and the areas they need to improve. I will explain each topic step by step using simple language, worked examples, and practice questions. I believe students learn best when they feel comfortable asking questions, so I will create a relaxed and supportive environment. I will encourage them to think through problems rather than just memorise methods, helping them build confidence as well as improve their maths skills. My aim is to make lessons engaging, enjoyable, and tailored to each student's individual learning style and goals.
