Second Year Medical Student at University College London (UCL) who is keen on tutoring with lessons aimed at A Level/GCSE students

I have mentored sixth form students in the past which involved teaching and making them a competitive applicant for medical school. I will teach by firstly asking my student to RAG-rate topics to structure our sessions and tackle content they find challenging. I will talk them through the content and encourage them to ask questions, and then I will test their understanding using exam questions from their specification. In subsequent sessions I will give them 5-10 minutes to answer questions from previous sessions we had for active recall. I will not only teach them content but help them learn the skills needed to approach and answer specific questions to maximise exam marks.
