I think everyone should have basic knowledge in computation. Think about an idea you got but need to develop a website. Mark zuckerberg developed facebook in his college dorm. I am lucky to study both data science and computer science, thanks to supportive teachers I had in high school who helped me develop mathematical maturity to understand these vast fields.
