Hi there, I'm Doaa!

With over ten years of teaching and research experience in Egypt and Germany, I’m here to help you make sense of biology—whether you're preparing for exams, tackling tricky concepts, or simply want to improve your understanding of the subject.

I currently work as a university lecturer in Microbiology and Immunology, and I hold a PhD in Molecular Microbiology from Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin. My background includes teaching a wide range of topics, from general microbiology to advanced immunology, for both undergraduate and postgraduate students. My research has also been published in peer-reviewed journals and focuses on how bacteria cause disease—so if you're curious about the science behind infections, I’ve got you covered!

My teaching style is clear, supportive, and tailored to your needs. Whether you're studying for GCSEs, A-levels, or university courses, I aim to explain complex ideas in simple, understandable ways. I believe that learning biology can be both exciting and rewarding when it’s taught with the right balance of structure and flexibility.

I also care deeply about science communication. As part of an initiative called Maqal Elmy, I’ve helped make scientific topics more accessible to Arabic-speaking audiences—so I know how important it is to meet students where they are and build from there.
