Jay tutored my dyslexic son for three years in which time his marks in English dramatically improved. Initially he was struggling in school, and his marks were beginning to drop; he was feeling frustrated and despondent in class. Jay took time to get to know my son to find out what his interests were and his capabilities; tailoring their sessions to challenge and engage.
The tutor sessions were always enjoyable, and Jay encouraged my son to push himself to keep improving.
Jay broke down exam questions and introduced techniques and discussions.
After his tutoring, my son felt confident and prepared going into his GCSE's; achieving a Level 6 in English Language and a 7 in English Literature.
