Are you looking for a friendly and experienced Polish tutor to help you or your child improve your Polish and prepare for GCSE exams?
I am a qualified Polish Teacher, pedagogue and speech therapist with experience working with children and young people. I offer individual Polish lessons tailored to the learner's age, level and needs. I am a native Polish-speaking teacher with 13 years of experience working with children and young people in the UK, including 5 years specialising in Polish GCSE preparation and examination support.
Over the past five years, I have prepared approximately 60 students for their Polish GCSE examinations. I teach all four areas of the GCSE: Speaking, Listening, Reading and Writing, as well as grammar, vocabulary, spelling and translation.
I use structured lessons, exam-style questions, past papers and targeted revision to help students develop their Polish language skills, improve their examination technique and build confidence.
I have particular experience working with bilingual and Polish-speaking students studying in the UK. I understand that students can have very different levels of confidence and ability in Polish, so I adapt my lessons to their individual needs and learning pace.
I also have practical GCSE examination experience. I conduct and assess students at a Polish Saturday School and have experience conducting GCSE Polish Speaking examinations at a UK secondary school, with assessments submitted to AQA for marking.
I hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and an Enhanced DBS. My background in Speech and Language Therapy is also valuable when supporting students with pronunciation, communication and spoken language development.
I offer personalised one-to-one online lessons for students preparing for GCSE Polish. Lessons can focus on specific GCSE skills, exam preparation, past papers, speaking practice, grammar or building overall confidence in Polish.
My aim is to make lessons structured, supportive and focused on each student's individual goals.
