Karolina Kielczewska

I am a native Polish teacher with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and 13 years of experience working with children and young people in the UK. For the past 5 years, I have specialised in Polish GCSE preparation and examination support, helping approximately 60 students prepare for their GCSE Polish examinations.

My lessons are friendly, structured and fully adapted to each student's level, learning style and individual goals. I believe students learn best when they feel comfortable, supported and confident, so I create a positive learning environment while maintaining clear structure and expectations.

My GCSE Polish lessons cover all four areas of the examination: Speaking, Listening, Reading and Writing. I also work on grammar, vocabulary, spelling, translation, pronunciation and exam technique. I use conversation practice, exam-style questions, past papers, targeted revision and individual feedback to help students identify areas for improvement and make steady progress.

I have particular experience working with bilingual and Polish-speaking students in the UK, including students with different levels of confidence and ability in Polish. I adapt my teaching accordingly and work at each student's pace.

I also have practical GCSE examination experience. I conduct and assess students at a Polish Saturday School and have conducted GCSE Polish Speaking examinations at a UK secondary school, with completed assessments submitted to AQA for marking.

My background in Speech and Language Therapy is also valuable when supporting students with pronunciation, communication and spoken language development.

I offer online one-to-one lessons for GCSE students as well as general Polish lessons for children, young people and adults. My aim is to make every lesson engaging, supportive and purposeful while helping students achieve their personal goals.
