I would describe myself as organised giving overviews then delving deeper for students of any level of competence

I first give an overview of the syllabus and content to be covered, this allows students to understand potential topics that may be covered throughout lessons. After this initial introduction, I then delve deeper into introductory topics and once I've ensured that students are competent in the current topic, I will then relate it to the next topic and delve deeper, repeating this process until the syllabus is complete and students are able to confidently answer exam related questions.
