🧠 Expert Psychology Tutor | AQA Examiner | First-Class & Distinction MSc Graduate ⭐

I’m Katrina, a passionate Psychology tutor from London with a First-Class Psychology degree and a Distinction Master’s in Mental Health: Psychological Therapies from Barts and The London School of Medicine and Dentistry.

I have over six years of experience working with children and young people, including within NHS CAMHS (Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services), supporting students with mental health needs, ADHD, autism and other Special Educational Needs (SEN). I’m also an AQA A-Level Sociology Examiner, so I know exactly what examiners are looking for and how to help students maximise their marks.

My teaching style is relaxed, supportive and interactive. I don’t believe in memorising endless amounts of information or revising things you don’t need. Instead, I’ll teach you exactly what the specification expects, how examiners award marks, and the revision strategies that actually work.

As someone with ADHD myself, I understand how overwhelming studying can feel. That’s why every lesson is personalised to you. We’ll create a revision plan, identify your strengths and weaknesses, practise exam questions, and build your confidence together.

I also see myself as more than just a tutor. I love motivating students, helping them develop confidence, and showing them that with the right mindset and strategy, they can achieve far more than they think!
