AFL, I am open to experimenting more to satisy needs of every student.

My lessons cover the following format:
Do now starter questions - which connect the already existing knowledge with the current lesson while identifying misconceptions and treating them
The main objectives of the lesson
Teacher input - facts and concepts
Think Pair Share
Formative assessment method - check for understanding based on some questions with a whiteboard or any other format
Teacher input - remaining facts and concepts clarification
Consolidation activity - check for understanding - past paper questions followed by discussion with marking scheme
Plenary activity - reconfirm of check for understanding of coverage of objectives of the lesson
