Advert description
Does your child freeze up when they see numbers? Do fractions feel like a foreign language, or algebra like an unsolvable puzzle? You're not alone — and more importantly, it doesn't have to stay that way.
I'm a PhD-qualified tutor with years of experience turning confused, frustrated learners into students who not only understand maths but actually enjoy it. From counting and times tables in primary school to complex equations at GCSE, I teach maths the way it should always have been taught: clearly, patiently, and with real understanding at the centre of every lesson.
How I teach:
I don't believe in rote learning or rushing through topics to tick boxes. Instead, I take the time to find out exactly where your child is struggling, go back to the root of the problem, and rebuild their understanding step by step. When the foundations are solid, everything else follows and that's when confidence starts to grow.
Every lesson is structured, focused, and tailored entirely to your child's needs and pace. I use worked examples, visual explanations, and real-world contexts to make abstract concepts concrete and memorable. Past paper practice and exam technique are woven in naturally for GCSE students.
I tutor Maths for:
🔢 Primary (Ages 5–11) — Number, shape, fractions, times tables, word problems
📐 KS3 (Ages 11–14) — Algebra, geometry, ratio, statistics
📊 GCSE (Ages 14–16) — Full syllabus, all exam boards, Foundation and Higher
