I am a passionate and experienced teacher who enjoys helping children build confidence, develop skills and enjoyment for learning.

I am an experienced teacher with a strong background in primary education, including teaching across Key Stages 1 and 2 and supporting pupils with a wide range of abilities and learning needs. I specialise in English, reading, writing and mathematics, with particular expertise in developing early literacy and a strong foundation in maths. My teaching is personalised, engaging and supportive. I begin by identifying the pupil’s strengths, areas for development and individual learning style, then adapt each lesson to meet their needs. I use a mixture of questioning, modelling, practical activities, technology and carefully structured tasks to keep pupils engaged and actively involved in their learning. I place a strong emphasis on building confidence alongside academic progress. I provide clear explanations, regular encouragement and constructive feedback, while using assessment throughout the lesson to check understanding and adjust my teaching. My aim is for every pupil to finish a session feeling successful, motivated and more confident in their ability.
