Expert one-to-one tuition with highly experienced tutor

I'm relaxed and friendly, but take a rigorous approach to learning, specialising in English and English literature. I will improve your understanding of key texts and forms and terms, preparing you for essay and examination. I have a Batchelor's degree in English Literature and a Masters degree from the University of London.

From Chaucer to Steinbeck, we will close read texts and discuss great works of fiction, rapidly improving your understanding and love for poetry, drama and the novel. We will improve your ability to express your thoughts and feelings and answer difficult exam and essay questions in a lucid, perspicacious style with exemplary grammar and spelling.

I offer an initial trial lesson after which you can choose to have a regular lesson. Lessons are one-to-one, but can include more than one student providing they are studying at the same level. Lessons last for one hour, but can be up to two hours if required.
