am a prospective Veterinary Medicine student- studying biology, chemistry, geography and psychology at A-level. With grades-at GCSE, I can ensure the confidence of students skyrockets, just as their grades will. I have a huge passion for learning and teaching, with one year of tutoring students at many levels, from KS1 to GCSE. I have experience with tutoring those with special learning disabilities too, so every student, no matter their current ability will be aided in ways beneficial to them.
My lessons are focussed around the student, and I feel that they benefit best from having a tutor who fully understands their needs and is able to adapt their teaching strategy to help every student best as possible. I start with a consultation, to understand every students weaknesses and establish things they would like specific focus on. Following this, I tailor each lesson to whichever part of the specification the student would like help for, alongside extra preparation for any school tests.
Each student has a different learning type, which is something that I treasure and take into account when lesson-planning. I use a mixture of visual diagrams, verbal explanations and so on, alongside beginning each lesson with a strong explanation of the key underlying rules that must be understood before any progression to exam question or trickier content takes place (if this is needed). Exam questions are also a priority of mine and I acknowledge that many students have difficulty in this.
Learning with me is fun, rewarding, and something to look forward to. I thoroughly enjoy teaching and learning and I have experience in passing this on to those I tutor.
