KS2 and KS3 Maths Tutor helping students build confidence, independence and deeper understanding

I offer personalised Maths lessons for KS2 and KS3 students, with a strong focus on building deep understanding before moving forward. I adapt each lesson to the individual child, their pace, and their learning style. I don't believe in a one-size-fits-all approach. Every student is different and deserves to be taught in a way that makes them feel happy and proud to have tried.

Some students benefit from being stretched and challenged in a relaxed way. Others need support building confidence and recognising their progress. I focus on building a positive working relationship with each student. This helps them feel more comfortable being honest about what they do and don't understand, allowing me to identify gaps at their core and address them more effectively.

My style involves guiding students to work things out for themselves through questioning and support, rather than simply giving answers. This helps them build independence and a deeper understanding. Lessons are therefore typically between 30 and 60 minutes, depending on the child's needs.
