I aim to create a friendly, relaxed and supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes without feeling pressured. I tailor each lesson to the individual student and focus on the areas they need the most support with, whether that is something they are currently struggling with at school or a gap in their understanding from an earlier topic.

As we work through different topics, I also assess the student’s understanding and identify any areas that may need further attention, allowing us to build a personalised approach to their learning.

Alongside developing their understanding and confidence, I believe it is important to introduce exam-style questions early on. My lessons therefore include regular exam practice, helping students become familiar with different question styles, learn how to approach them effectively, and develop the confidence and skills they need to perform well in their GCSE exams.
