Advert description
I'm a RADA-trained professional actor, currently working across the West End, the Royal Shakespeare Company, Netflix and the BBC, and I bring that real-world experience into every lesson.
Whether you're preparing for GCSEs, A Levels, drama school auditions or simply looking to build confidence, I offer engaging, personalised tuition in Drama, English Literature (with a particular passion for Shakespeare and classical text) and English Language.
My teaching combines academic rigour with practical experience. Shakespeare isn't just something I've studied, it's something I've performed professionally, allowing students to explore the texts in a way that's lively, accessible and memorable. I also help students develop essay writing, textual analysis, creative thinking and exam technique, ensuring they feel confident both in the classroom and in the exam hall.
Alongside my professional acting career, I've spent many years teaching in schools, drama academies and one-to-one settings. I have extensive experience working with students of all abilities, including those with SEN and additional learning needs, and pride myself on adapting my teaching to suit each individual learner.
Lessons are supportive, challenging and enjoyable, with a focus on building confidence, curiosity and genuine understanding for the material being studied to encourage the learning process to become one of understanding how to negotiate and adapt to the grading system, thereby improving grades.
Whether you're aiming for a top GCSE or A Level result, preparing for LAMDA or drama school auditions, or simply want to discover a love of Shakespeare and English, I'd love to help!
