30+ year private piano teacher. All genres / Exams / Theory / Improvisation / Pop / Jazz / Classical

Hi,
I've been a private piano teacher for over 30 years. I am very experienced in teaching beginners to advanced playing standard. I can teach almost all genres including country, latin and gospel piano but most students tend to learn jazz, classical, blues, pop (I'm also a songwriter), chords, theory, improvisation and composition with me.

Exams: ABRSM: Grade 8 Classical / Diploma standard performances, Jazz grade 5 (although I go a lot more advanced than this level) and Grade 1-8 theory ABRSM standard.

I am a published author with my online/offline course The Complete Classical Piano Course (voted as the Top 20 Best piano courses - by PIANIST magazine) and also my Playing by Ear - A Songwriter's Way book which has been featured in PIANIST magazine 6 times as well as numerous compositions.

I've developed tips and tricks and various learning strategies over 30+ years, on students from 6 -75 years old. As long as you follow my method for learning piano and lose your bad habits I will get you playing better no matter where you're at at the moment.

Rates: £50 / hour. Can have a lesson per week, 2 per month or one per month.
