Patient and kind geography tutor willing to support students of all abilities

I've done a BA in Geography and an MA in Museum Studies. I'm here to help students see the versatility of Geography and how what we learn in the classroom plays out in our everyday life! In my lessons, I want to make students see how relevant Geography is to their environment. To do this, I will involve elements of empathy in my lessons so students can hopefully show a greater care and passion in the world around them. I'm also willing to hear about students wants, needs and backgrounds, in order to plan my lessons around themes and topics that are relevant to them and their daily lives. For example, it was really helpful to me to learn about a vibrant and multicultural Britain as one of the few students of colour in the classroom, having a lesson on this really boosted my confidence and sense of belonging, and I hope to carry this over in my future lessons.
