Advert description
I am a fifth-year Medical student at Imperial College London and hold a First-Class intercalated BSc. I achieved a grade 9 in GCSE Maths, a grade 8 in Further Maths and an A in A-level Mathematics, and I have previous tutoring experience.
I offer supportive and personalised Maths lessons for students preparing for the 11+, studying at KS3 or working towards GCSE Foundation or Higher Maths. Lessons can focus on strengthening core understanding, revisiting difficult topics, completing homework, preparing for assessments or developing GCSE exam technique.
I begin by identifying the topics a student feels least confident with, then break each concept into clear, manageable steps. I use worked examples before progressing to guided practice and independent questions, checking understanding throughout rather than simply giving students the answer. I aim to create a relaxed environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes.
Lessons are generally 60 minutes and are adapted to the student’s ability, learning style and goals. I can teach online or in person within reasonable travelling distance of West London.
