Advert description
I am a Graduate in Classics from St. John's College, University of Oxford. I have been teaching for six years now: across this period, I have totalled over 5000 hours of tutoring, both online and in person, across a vast range of subjects - I focus primarily on English, Latin, Classical Greek and History, but also have experience teaching Maths, Sciences, and Psychology. I have extensive experience preparing students for the 11+/13+, GCSEs and A-Levels: my students learn to love their subject, and achieve success both in public assessments and prestigious exams such as Eton's King's Scholarship, alongside successful university admission, with several students making successful Oxbridge applications. I've taught ages three to sixty-five, and am always excited to meet new students and work with various needs. I believe the student-tutor dynamic should be at the heart of a good tutoring set-up, and I have seen this proven in the excellent improvement and results of my past tutees.
