Friendly Secondary English Teacher Helping Students Build Confidence and Achieve Their Best

I am a passionate Secondary English teacher with experience teaching both the AQA and Eduqas exam specifications. I offer a child-centred approach, adapting each lesson to the individual student’s needs, learning style and goals.
My aim is to create a supportive and encouraging environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, developing their ideas and building confidence in their abilities. I can support students with English Language and English Literature, including reading comprehension, creative and transactional writing, essay structure, analytical skills, exam technique and revision.
I have a genuine love for English Literature and enjoy helping young people engage with texts, explore different interpretations and express their ideas with confidence. Whether a student wants to strengthen their foundations, prepare for GCSE examinations or work towards a higher grade, my lessons are personalised, engaging and focused on helping them make meaningful progress.
