Eiliyah Piprawala

I’m a passionate and supportive Secondary English teacher who genuinely enjoys helping young people grow in confidence and recognise their own potential. I believe that every student is different, which is why I take a child-centred and personalised approach to my teaching.
My lessons are designed around each student’s individual needs, strengths and goals. I take time to understand what they are finding difficult, what they already do well and how they learn best. I want my students to feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes and developing their ideas without feeling judged or pressured.
I have experience teaching both the AQA and Eduqas GCSE English Language and English Literature specifications. I can provide support with essay writing, analysing texts, creative and transactional writing, comprehension, revision strategies and exam technique. Whether your child needs help filling gaps in their knowledge, building confidence or working towards a higher GCSE grade, I will adapt our lessons to support their progress.
English Literature is a real passion of mine, and I love sharing that enthusiasm with my students. One of the most rewarding parts of teaching is watching a student begin to understand a challenging text, develop their own interpretation and realise that their ideas are valuable.
Above all, I aim to create a warm, encouraging and positive learning environment. I want every student I work with to feel listened to and supported, while also being appropriately challenged. My goal is to help students make meaningful progress and leave each lesson feeling more confident, capable and positive about English.
