I am a teacher with 15 years experience. I teach History and English to small groups and 1:1 students of GCSE and A level.

I teach small groups and 1:1 and I am also a SEND specialist teacher so I am used to adapting my teaching to individual needs. I build strong relationships with students so that they trust my subject knowledge. I am encouraging and positive with feedback and avoid being negative with students but provide supportive and constructive feedback. I make my lessons engaging and interesting, trying to find comparisons with topics individual students are interested in so that they can understand and engage better with the lesson. I am empathetic and supportive of students' needs and patient when explaining concepts.
