With a Masters in French from the University of St Andrews, I am particularly familiar with the Scottish (and UK) education systems in terms of learning French from scratch.

Having worked as a writer and editor on French-English dictionaries and learning books, I am very understanding of the troubles and classic pitfalls of learning French as an English speaker. I also write a weekly blog for English speakers learning French about interesting vocabulary and explaining the details of words that often cause confusion. I'm currently a freelance writer working on both English and French content, after studying and working for years in French and having lived in France.
