Spanish Language Tutor for High School students seeking qualifications through to businessmen seeking professional language

Over the last 25 years I have worked almost exclusively throughout South and Central America as well as mainland Spain in bilingual language teaching and academic management.

I love being a Spanish tutor and Spanish language lecturer.

I have a full degree in the Spanish language and Latin American studies augmented by various business qualifications and achievements in translation, interpretation and publications realized in that continent not least as Senior Operations Manager charged with the smooth running of the Chilean Navy’s National Language Centre based in Valparaiso.

As a Scot who himself only began to learn Spanish as a young adult I totally understand the fear and trepidations of learning a new language. I have been there and I never forget it.

I also totally understand the most common mistakes made as well as hurdles most commonly faced by UK students learning Spanish and know exactly how to resolve those recurring issues.

In conclusion while my classes will always be based on listening to the specific needs of the students and adapting class lessons to meet these needs i do also like to have some fun through exercises and conversations targeted to reiterate the whole new world that opens up to students in learning this fantastic language.

Learning Spanish sent me on an amazing journey and if I can help my students to not only follow in my footsteps but travel further then I will be a happy educator.
