Primary & Secondary School Tutor – Numeracy, Literacy & Learning Support

I offer personalised tutoring and learning support for primary and secondary school pupils, helping children and young people build confidence, develop their skills and achieve their learning goals.

I have experience supporting young people within secondary education in Glasgow, including pupils with Additional Support Needs (ASN). I understand that every child learns differently, and my approach is patient, supportive and tailored to each individual’s needs, abilities and learning style.

I also have experience working in residential care with young people with disabilities, which has developed my understanding of supporting children and young people with a wide range of individual needs, communication styles and abilities.

In addition, I have experience working within a playgroup setting focused on play, child development and play-based learning. This has given me valuable experience in encouraging children's communication, confidence, social development and learning through play.

I am currently studying for a Master’s degree in Psychology at the University of Strathclyde and am looking for flexible work alongside my studies. My academic background, combined with my practical experience working with children and young people, has strengthened my understanding of learning, development, individual differences and the importance of creating a supportive environment where children can thrive.
