Advert description
I teach through clear explanations, discussion, practical examples, case-based learning and problem questions, adapting each lesson to the student’s individual needs and level of understanding. My focus is on developing legal reasoning, critical thinking, case analysis, legal writing and examination skills rather than simply memorising legal rules. I can support students with understanding complex legal concepts, analysing cases and authorities, structuring essays and legal arguments, preparing for assessments and developing confidence in tackling problem questions. I draw on substantial UK university teaching experience, including seminars, one-to-one academic support, assessment and feedback, advocacy exercises and mock courtroom activities, as well as three years of professional legal practice as an advocate. This allows me to combine academic knowledge with practical legal experience and provide engaging, supportive and practically informed lessons.
