Advert description
Hi, I’m Supriyo — a Master’s student in Theoretical Physics at the University of Glasgow with a strong passion for science education. I offer engaging, concept-focused tutoring in Physics for GCSE, A-Level, and introductory undergraduate levels. I have hands-on experience teaching school students, supervising experiments, and mentoring learners from various backgrounds.
I previously worked as a part-time Physics Teacher at a senior secondary school, where I taught motion, forces, energy, waves, thermodynamics, and more. I’ve also led STEM-focused instruction in Python, electronics, and problem-solving to over 50 students as a project mentor. My approach to tutoring emphasizes understanding rather than memorisation — helping students feel confident and in control of their learning.
Whether you're preparing for exams, struggling with difficult topics, or want to strengthen your physics foundations, I will adapt my lessons to your pace and learning style. I use whiteboard simulations, real-life analogies, and step-by-step explanations to make complex topics crystal clear.
I tutor online, and I'm happy to support:
-GCSE Physics (Combined or Triple Science)
-A-Level Physics (all boards)
-Intro to University Physics (Mechanics, Electricity, Quantum basics and etc)
Right now, I’m researching topics in particle physics and black holes, and I love bringing that insight down to school level in a way that sparks curiosity and confidence. I am comfortable working with learners of all levels. Let’s work together to make Physics your strength!
