Improve your grades in maths and physics now!

My lessons are informal and fun but structured so that progress towards excellent grades is secure. My approach is to begin with understanding where the learner is in relation to the maths course they are studying in order to see which areas need to be focussed on. Once I understand this through observing a student's competence at a particular set of exercises I will show how to perform the kind of task in question through demonstration whilst continually checking understanding at each stage. The main focus of my lessons is checking that the learner can answer correctly a gradually ramped up set of exercises which work towards and will include a wide set of previous exam questions when the learner is ready for them. I think it is vital that students can quickly see what success looks like and how to achieve this through their own efforts.
After a successful international career in the music industry, selling millions of records and touring all over the world, I have spent the last couple of decades teaching young folks. I have had wide experience of teaching in schools, colleges, university and offenders in prison (in addition to many years of private tuition at different levels). My own education includes undergraduate degrees in Maths and Physics I have postgraduate qualifications in education and philosophy. My teaching has given me loads of experience of helping different learners on their journeys to successful maths achievement and progression to the next stage in their journeys through life
