My lessons are all about making Maths easier to understand and helping students feel more confident with topics they might find difficult. I break everything down into simple, manageable steps and focus on helping students understand why a method works rather than just memorising it.

I have a year’s experience tutoring Maths and English at Explore Learning, where I worked with students of different ages and abilities.

Each lesson is tailored to the student’s level, whether they’re studying National 4, National 5 or Higher Maths. We’ll work through topics they’re struggling with, practise exam-style questions and look at useful shortcuts and techniques to make solving problems easier.

Lessons are held online, with plenty of opportunities to ask questions, work through examples together and practise independently with guidance. I always encourage students to ask questions, no matter how small, and aim to make lessons relaxed, supportive and engaging.
