Hello! My name is Daniel Mathias, im a student in S6 and I can teach N5, Higher and Advanced Higher Mathematics at the SQA level.

I have plenty of experience in the field of mathematics, I have achieved 99% both in my N5 and Higher SQA exams, although I am currently waiting on sitting my AH, I self taught the course to myself last year and I have a real passion behind the understanding of the maths behind the problems and knowing where things come from and why they make sense / work. In addition I have achieved gold awards in the UKMT, merited in the senior kangaroo and in 2025 achieved a distinction in the BMO1. At my school I represent the maths department as Maths Captain, this role involves tutoring younger children through helping them with their homework, if they have any problems and teaching competition based maths which is not done in the curriculum. I can teach patiently and help people achieve confidence and good exam technique and understanding of maths and ultimately help them grow and achieve great results.
