Friendly & Supportive Maths Tutor | GCSE, National 5 and Primary Level | Building Confidence & Strong Foundations

I am a friendly, patient and supportive tutor who enjoys helping students build both their maths skills and confidence. I understand that maths can sometimes feel overwhelming, so I aim to break topics down into simple, manageable steps and explain concepts in different ways until they make sense.

I have experience working with and teaching children, including volunteering with children with additional support needs and teaching children.

These experiences have helped me develop strong communication skills, patience and the ability to adapt my approach to suit different learning styles and abilities.

As a tutor, I would focus not only on helping students get the correct answer, but also on helping them understand why the method works. I can support students with maths up to GCSE/National 5 level, whether they need help strengthening their foundations, preparing for exams, working through difficult topics or simply gaining more confidence in maths.

My goal is to create a comfortable environment where students feel able to ask questions, make mistakes and learn at their own pace.
