I have taught students from 15 to 65 years of age. I love teaching communicatively, with student requirements center stage. The classes depend very much on what the student needs and how they learn best- though a communicative approach is always favoured. Classes are sometimes based on what students ask for, as tailored classes tend to fit more exactly. However, often students need guidance, and I often teach what I believe they need to communicate more effectively, be that better grammar, more vocabulary, or simply and importantly, a place to practice and try out new ideas with someone encouraging and patient.
