I provide calm, highly individualised one-to-one tuition for autistic children and young people, including learners with severe learning disabilities, communication or sensory needs, anxiety, non-attendance or disrupted placements.

Lessons are shaped around each learner’s strengths, interests, needs and EHCP outcomes. I can support functional English and maths, communication, emotional regulation, life skills, independence and preparation for adulthood.

Sessions are practical, structured and sensory-informed, using visual supports and approaches such as SCERTS and TEACCH where appropriate. My first priority is helping each learner feel safe, understood and ready to engage, before building progress gradually and meaningfully. Tuition is suitable for learners who are out of school, home educated, awaiting a placement or attending on a reduced timetable.

I am an experienced SEND teacher, curriculum lead and senior leader with more than 20 years’ experience teaching autistic children and young people from KS1 to Post-16. I hold a postgraduate qualification in autism and have extensive experience supporting learners with severe learning disabilities, communication and sensory needs, anxiety, and highly individual learning profiles.
