Advert description
I have had plenty of online tutoring experience and required equipment to deliver high quality lessons tailored to individual needs. I have been a part of Oxford University's COMPOS tutoring team for more than a year and can teach physics and maths at advanced levels to prepare you for further education or to excel at school examinations!
Being a recent graduate (High Merit MSc. Physics from Imperial College London and First-Class Honours BSc. Physics from Durham University), I am in the perfect position to relate to young students and teach complex topics in a way that is interesting and relevant.
I focus my classes in such a way that I can identify knowledge gaps in topics, which ends up making physics seem like an alien concept. I try to focus my energy on closing these gaps to ensure that students understand why they do, what they do. I have found this to always be beneficial as a student myself and from feedback from all my pupils in the past.
For instance, you may know that certain problems in physics require integration, but others don't. How do we differentiate between which type of problems need integration? Identifying what situations require what tools is one of the most important aspects of problem-solving.
I am happy to provide a short demo-lesson to students to give a sample about how this will benefit them. Physics is a really interesting subject, it might be challenging, but that is only because you need to understand how to apply the topics you learn in maths along with your physical intuition. I hope to instil confidence and competency in my students to tackle physics problems in their examinations and more!
About the lessons:
