Online Maths and English tuition for GCSE

I have a BSc (Hons) in Geography from the University of Exeter, and over six years' experience tutoring both online and in a private centre. It's my aim to ensure students build both confidence and exam success, achieving their full academic potential.

I have previously worked with students who have been aiming for a pass, all the way to those pushing themselves towards a Grade 9. The approach is always the same: a focus on exam technique and familiarisation with the assessment process, underpinned by constant positive reinforcement and challenge. The advantage of private tuition is the scope for tailored lessons and more individual attention, which is often impossible in busy classroom environments.

My aim is to not only to help improve school performance, but also assist students in developing study skills and discipline, which are empowering and can be applied across a range of subjects.

As a member of The Tutors' Association, I undertake frequent CPD courses, keeping up to date with safeguarding and curriculum changes.
