I have been an ESOL teacher for over 9 years and since gaining my Trinity TESOL qualification have taught in Hertfordshire where I lived for more than 30 years moving to online teaching during the pandemic.

I have taught a wide range of people from many different nationalities to integrate into the British way of life learning essential skills, making appointments, preparing for parents evenings and interviews. I can also help with preparation for the "Life in the UK" exam.

I really enjoy teaching as I love helping my students settle in the UK way of life and communication and in turn be taught about other customs and traditions.

Many of my students enjoy my classes as i cover a wide range of topics and find out what my students are passionate about so that they rapidly gain confidence in their ability to communicate.

Once the communication has been established then i can help make adjustments in pronunciation, intonation, grammar and English expressions that can help with fluency and add richness and colour.
