My lessons are aimed at GCSE, A-level, and undergraduate students.

Everyone has a story. I believe that a true passion for literature can be nurtured in anyone. My first goal is to help a young person recognise that storytelling is imbued with incredible power – that it helps us make sense of ourselves, whether we are looking at the span of civilisation or at our own little lives. From here, the nuts and bolts of each 1hr-90 minute lesson will contain a balance of practical knowledge tailored to the requirements of their syllabus, along with the rich discussion that encourages a young mind to truly grow. As well as getting the best possible results, I aim to support young people to develop intellectual and creative confidence. This is because literature is a wonderful tool that can help us see things clearly: who we want to become, what we want to nurture, and how to identify all that is true, good, and beautiful in this world. Although I focus on GCSE and A-level tutoring I also help with Personal Statements for University and coach creative writers of all ages.
