Miles Peckover

I recently graduated from the University of Exeter with a first-class degree in English with Creative Writing. I’m new to tutoring but as a mature student who went to University later on in life I have a familiarity with recent University application processes and the many of the texts that are studied at A-level. Furthermore, I have a breadth of life experience and have worked with young people in health and social care settings (often who had recently left the care system). In this work, it was essential to help these young people overcome their challenges through a coaching approach, building their confidence by making the most of their strengths while taking a positive approach to areas where growth was needed. The life experience I’ve had also enriches the way that I coach creative writing. I'm not an armchair academic – I’m someone who has worked a diverse range of jobs, has overcome adverse experiences, and has a wide breadth of interests.
